2016 was a year of extremes for our sparkling wine. All up to the point of excess. There was a big contrast between the seasons.
In the spring, we had to deal with hail and frost. That, for us, was very taxing. To the contrary, the month of August was drier to the point of sunburn for some grapes.
All these excesses combined created the right circumstances for growth and maturity of our wines.
We had to be very reactive and constantly adapt our picking itineraries to these exceptional conditions.
The Ghost, Anushka and RPB were created.
The complexity of their taste truly makes them unique.
The story of the 2017 is yet to be written…
